The Highland Neighborhood
The Highland neighborhood is located northwest of downtown. Highland was originally a suburb, but was combined with Denver City and Auraria in the late 1800's to create the City of Denver. As one of Denver's first streetcar suburbs, it had its own business district that has become known as Highland Square. (Click on the thumbnails for larger pics)
